Our Story

Hi!

My name is Sana, and I'm the founder of Dukan. I was born and raised in Nazareth, and now based in Berlin.

Driven by a need to support my people, I began reaching out to artisans and small businesses back home. I started small, importing ceramics, olive oil soaps, and calligraphy prints, later expanding to include leather and olive wood products. By early 2025, I began sharing these pieces at Berlin’s markets and fundraising events.

Today, this shop has become more than a business; it is a bridge of resilience and a testament to a culture that refuses to be silenced.

Dukan is a project that supports Palestinian arts and crafts, presenting work from artists and craftspeople across Palestine and the diaspora. The shop introduces the variety of handmade and traditionally made crafts, with a focus on preserving, honoring, and developing our heritage for a global audience.
